Summary:

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or comparable degree-level qualification
• Minimum of 5 Years experience in software development
• Experience of writing high quality, software in C for embedded applications and devices
• Experience of writing code for devices with limited resources e.g. memory and CPU.
• Previous experience working on complex software development projects as part of a team, and supervising other engineers.
• High standards of team working and communications skills, including English language – spoken and written.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Familiar with different Operating Systems such as Embedded Linux, VxWorks, QNX, pSOS, Nucleos, Windows CE/XP Embedded.
• Familiar with Web technologies such as DOM, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Web services (e.g. SOAP, AJAX), Web 2.0.
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following processor architectures: ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, SH3/4, ST20.
• Knowledge of Digital TV technologies and Standards (e.g. MPEG, DVB etc)
• Knowledge of another language such as Mandarin or Hindi would be an advantage
• Thai National.  Non Thai National will be considered only if they are an outstanding candidate meeting the essential requirements above.
